Nick McCready Nick McCready is from Jenison and attends Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He currently attends Jenison High School and is part of their music program. His grandparents introduced him to gospel music and he loves to sing about the word of God and the message that it brings. He likes giving back what God has given him through music. |

Robert Vander Leest Robert lives in Jenison, Michigan with his wife, Khela, their two sons, Jediah and Caiden, and their daughter, Ashlyn. Robert is employed as a Graphic Designer at Franklin Press and runs RK Design, a freelance graphic design company. He enjoys playing basketball, reading, computer games, and spending time with his family. He also loves to sing! One of Robert’s favorite things to do is quartet practice. Robert’s love for music has led him to sing in various praise teams, the Singing Hims Men’s Choir, and at Mel Trotter Ministries as a song leader. He hopes to uplift those who listen to Praises 4 Him and help them grow closer to God though song and worship. |

Rob Schrock Rob grew up in West Michigan and is a member of Fellowship Reformed Church in Hudsonville. He and his wife Linda have four beautiful children-- Jacob, Rebecca, Rachel, and Christopher. He also has six grandchildren-- Sabrina, Courtney, Austin, Ethan, Carmen and Hunter. Rob played trombone in school and in a praise band and has also sung in choirs and men's groups at church. He loves gospel music! He comes from a very musical family. His mother has a beautiful soprano voice and plays piano. Dad plays clarinet and used to teach clarinet at Hazelton's Music in Grandville. All his brothers and sisters sing and play an instrument. His uncle plays violin and sang in the original Praises 4 Him with Ben Van Kammen (Rob did not know that when he first met Ben). He grew up watching, admiring and sometimes traveling with his older brother Mark in the 70's while he played with the ever popular bluegrass group "Cabbage Crik". He enjoys fishing, golf, and spending time with the family. He really enjoys the fellowship with his "Brothers in Christ" in Praises 4 Him. |

Kurt Vander Loon Kurt is a family man and business owner from Jenison, Michigan who found his way to music to get away from depressing times. When he was at the end of his rope with life's worries, he asked God to take over his life. In order to keep from falling back, he surrounded himself with people and music that inspire. This started with choir at Fellowship Reformed Church of Hudsonville where he worships with his family. Having a father who has been involved with gospel music as a member of the Heralders Quartet for much of his adult life helped to inspire the kind of songs that Kurt found joy in singing. When asked to sing by fellow worker Ben Van Kammen, Kurt was able to put together the group to get started. With family help and determination, what a great joy it is to sing with fellow Christians who love to lead in worship and use the gifts that God has given to help inspire others to do the same. |

Brian Sproul Brian is extremely proud to be the musical director/slave driver and pianist for Praises 4 Him. He has been accompanying vocal groups and choirs since the age of 10, and enjoys the camaraderie of working with passionate Christians like these four gentlemen. He got his musical talent from God, which was then nurtured by his mother, a University of Michigan graduate in music education, and his father, a Lutheran pastor who played four different instruments in high school. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in 1995, and is currently attending Calvin Theological Seminary pursuing a Masters of Arts degree with an emphasis in Worship. He has been married to Tarah for three years this May, and they have had their first child, JoHanna, this spring. Brian would like to thank the fellas for their undying support, as well as the many free lunches he has received from them since taking the job. |

Julie Ball Julie lives in Hudsonville and is an Intern Music Director at Water of Life Church. She plays the piano and loves to give her talent back to God. She has traveled with many groups but is currently with Broken Chains and Praises 4 Him. |
